ok, initial list and vids are popping up with the combination of: bridge from below / vengevine / hogaak / altar of dementia. my thoughts is that this combination is a bit an overkill and may drop a few of them in order to optimize, i could see 3 directions in which this would happen:

    (1) bridge from below + vengevine + hogaak: this focus on the aggro plan

    (2) bridge from below + hogaak + altar of dementia: yes im dropping vengevine to go all in for the combo

    (3) hogaak + vengevine: here goes the old dredgevine archetype.

are those 4 cards really an overkill together? what are your thoughts?

i've just thought about this scenario, say T4 and the board is clear because of a boardwipe, both hoogak and vengevine is in the graveyard. we are in a topdeck mode.

we draw our card and we got [[lazotep reaver]], we cast it > trigger amass > cast hoogak from graveyard by delving 5 cards and 2-convoke from lazotep + amass token (2nd creature cast) / trigger vengevine.

from an empty boardstate, into drawing that one card transforming into that big explosive boardstate, so do you think [[lazotep reaver]] got a chance MB?

faithless looting sets up the deck for a busted T2 play.
    T1: looting > discard imp&vengevine
    T2: dredge > play land > stitcher supplier + 1-black cmc creature*
*i'll just let yor imagination see what this kind of opening can do.

faithless looting can also help the deck to have a better keepable hands.

you'll never go wrong if you play faithless looting in a graveyard deck.

I'd say that Winding Way is Gather the Pack that sees 1 card less but always nabs 2+ creatures if it sees them, so yes, I'm interested in testing Winding Way in this deck.

Winding Way is an interesting card, the problem i find about it is the chance for Vengevine to get into our hand instead of our graveyard thus requiring more change from the OP list. i could see winding way to be good in a R/G HollowVine shell, they got noose constrictor an additional discard engine to feed vengevine incase it end up in hand from a resolve winding way.

I'm pretty pumped about Stream of Thought.

i'm also excited with weather the storm as a sideboard tech against burn.

i'm done testing davriel in a budget shell and my conclusion is that "it doesn't fit". budget version doesn't have enough way to protect it and always end board-out in most of my games.

hey guys! do you find some cards from MH1 interested to test in this deck?
sadly for me, i only see collector ouphe as a sideboard inclusion and nothing else from MH1.

just want to share my starting list using some MH1 cards.

i'm still thinking whether to remove the revellers but i choose not to have much change from my existing list to easily observe the impact of this new cards: https://deckstats.net/decks/121773/1200683-dredgevine/en

other cards i'm interested to test are: undead augur and seasoned pyromancer.

    concerns with this changes:
    - more 1-drop, which make it more vulnerable to chalice for 1 / blast zone for one.
    - more "can't block creature", though we are an aggro deck so maybe this is not much of a concern but good to take note.

goodnews, this strategy made 5-0 in mtgo, it's exciting to see what the deck will look like once MH1 arrives.

We play ~18 land in this deck because we seldom hardcast anything that costs more than 2 mana. The deck is designed to run on a 2 land draw. A 3 drop like pyromancer or your earlier mentioned Domri is a dead-card risk we wouldn’t want to take.

we don't plan to play the 3 drop on curve so i think the land issue is not a good factor to assess the card.
(btw, i'm playing endless one so i can do a endless for 0-cmc + a 3-drop to trigger vengevine)

i've already done my testing with domri and i'm not impressed with the card, i'd rather increase my removal or slot an atarka instead of the PW.

is seasoned pyromancer playable in this deck?
my thoughts about the card are:
    - vengevine discard engine
    - a creature which can be pick from gather or commune also count as 1-creature cast requirement for vengevine
    - 2-card draw

what do you think? i'm looking at it as a 1-of

Anyway, I've done a bunch of testing the last few days and updated the OP list significantly as a result. Also added two more lists, so there are now three, for different budgets (~100/50/20). I'll make a new video soon.
wow! the budget ranges option are really helpful, thanks!

It's interesting but without flying and the reliability of multiple creatures, I'd rather Pack Rat.

i also think about pack rat to protect davriel, but after further thoughts, no need to protect davriel at that point since pack rat can win already on it's own. anyway, thanks!
