Apr 15, 2016Roland Deschain Planeswalker posted a message on Why are dual lands that come in tapped all of a sudden uncommon?!I think it has more to do with the needs of the set in draft format and less to do with the innate power level of those lands. Khans was focused around cards with three colors in their mana cost. Most people who drafted Khans needed access to multiple color enablers to play some of the commons and uncommons. SOI is not focused on mana constraints in the same way. Far fewer cards have two colors in the cost, so the need for fixing is less.Posted in: Magic General

Hallowed Fountain x2 (RTR)
Polluted Delta (KTK)
Windswept Heath (KTK)
Tundra NM (Revised)
If the tundra is there to sit pretty, go for the NM. If you want to play with it, I'd definitely keep the extra 40 dollars worth of cards.

It really comes down to what you want to play and in which format. Almost everything on both lists stands a chance of reprinting (with the exception of Berserk..which seems awesome). I think Pile B is better simply due to versatility across formats. I also doubt the reprints of any cards in Pile B will drop hard enough for a solid lose.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but is this one of the articles of interest?

2 Nissa, Worldwaker
4 Sylvan Caryatid
2 Temple of Malady
4 Flooded Strand
3 Bloodstained Mire
4 Wooded Foothills
1 Temple of Deceit
Thoughts on this trade? I just finished building UB Control so I figure I won't need the Caryatids and Nissas anytime soon. But I don't really need either pile, so.
Please..please...take pile B.

B: 1 nonfoil polluted delta, 3 nonfoil flooded strand, 1 nonfoil windswept heath
Traded for the foil. Looking to complete regular sets of nonfoil ktk fetches
If you're looking to complete a nonfoil set, I wouldn't trade five for one foil fetch. I think having five in hand is better than a shiny one in the binder.
