Deep Analysis > Chart a Course
Chart a Course seems good in tempo/aggro blue.
Dismiss > Siren Stormtamer
Four mana counter is not very good. A new playable one drop in blue!
Ovalchase Dragster > Charging Monstrosaur
Going to remove 5 colorless cards for 1 card of each color. A playable five drop in red!
Mortarpod > Adanto Vanguard
A good aggro two drop in white?
Iconic Masters Update:
Snare Thopter > Heroes' Bane
Want to test this guy.
Phyrexian Ingester > Mahamoti Djinn
Djinn isn't good enough probably but I want to test him for old times sake.
Twisted Abomination > Indulgent Tormentor
Abomination is ok, but Tormentor seems nice as an aggro curve topper.
Artisan of Kozilek > Heirloom Blade
I am going to test the Blade although it might be too good.
Gray Merchant of Asphodel > Curse of Disturbance
The older black curse is just not good enough to be banned so this one might be banned after some testing.
Kami of Ancient Law > Fragmentize
Kami is almost never picked. Fragmentize hits all enchantments and artifacts in my cube.
Curious Homunculus > Singing Bell Strike
Homunculus is not very good.
Guardian Idol > Supreme Will
Will is played in a lot of peasant cube so I'm going to try it as well.
Vampiric Rites > Disfigure
Rites didn't go into much decks. I like versatile combat tricks.
Gitaxian Probe > Night's Whisper
Chart a Course made me think about Whisper.
Sifter Wurm > Druid's Familiar
I think I can miss ramp target.
Cloudblazer > Migratory Route
Not sure which of these two I want in my cube. Trying Route for mow.
Trygon Predator > Ongoing Investigation
After some discussion on the Peasant Cube forum going to try Investigation.

Sep 14, 2017I rather play Disfigure.Posted in: Pauper & Peasant Discussion

Sailback has less value overall but you can consistently cast it on turn 5. So yeah, seems like a good cut.
Sep 12, 2017I am going to add:Posted in: Pauper & Peasant Discussion
Mahamoti Djinn (maybe instead of Phyrexian Ingester?)
Indulgent Tormentor (seems decent enough)
Hoarding Dragon (not sure about this one, I have no idea what type of deck wants this card)
Heroes' Bane (seems like a decent mana sink)
Also looking forward to Condescend with new art and a foil Illusory Ambusher.

Aug 25, 2017I think it's reasonable in a two color deck. Sometimes it's a more expensive Infest. sometimes it's a cheaper impression of Dakmor Plague/Famine. It might be too unreliable though and it's probably around the same level as those cards in two color decks. It's insane in mono black though.Posted in: Pauper & Peasant Discussion

How often do your decks have more than 3 or 4 creature with the same creature type?Quote from guitarspider »It's not for every deck, but in some creature heavy decks this will be almost as good as an untapped dual.
Aug 22, 2017I really like the art of the Walk the Plank promo. Too bad it isn't 1B and an instant.Posted in: Pauper & Peasant Discussion

Most two for ones (shriekmaw, Phyrexian Ingester, Shower of Coals etc.) depending on what they target, a really good Victimize, Diabolic Servitude if the game is grindy, Pelakka Wurm and some other ramp targets although I rather play removal for those.Quote from n00b1n8R »A side question might be, how many cards do you run that you'd be happy casting FoW in free-mode against?
I feel that FoW is not all about the power level of your cube but also the speed of your cube; Countering an aggro player's three drop while also killing his two drop in the same turn can be devastating even if it cost you three cards.
